A tribute to Howard Capel Drew - Royal Marines |

Howard C Drew volunteered for the Royal Marines on 6th July 1943 at the age of 17. Initially based at Lympstone, Exmouth, he went on to Dalditch Camp for advanced training in September 1943.
Training was completed in April 1944. Howard was involved in the D-Day landings on Juno Beach on D-Day, 6th June 1944. He went on to Singapore
and Ceylon on the lcc HMS Glenroy. He was demobilised in 1946
