The Parish Council Meeting was held in the Chapel at 7.30pm
PRESENT:
Mr M.M. Baddeley, in the chair, Mr D. Parsons, Mr S. Burgess, Mr M Newport
Mr R. Pearse & Mr G.Salter.
IN ATTENDANCE:
Mr Alex Graves TDBC Planning Officer & Mrs M Pearse, Parish Clerk.
Plus seventeen members of of the parish.

2005/09 THE MINUTES:
Having been circulated were taken as read and signed as correct by the chairman. proposed by Mr G Salter. Seconded by Mr D Parsons.
PUBLIC QUESTION TIME:
Opened with discussion of The Half Moon's planning application for a fence behind the road hedge. Two letters had been received.
One thought it intrusive and the other wanted it lower and painted to blend in with the surroundings.
The plans had already been amended to include the painting and it was agreed to leave it at the proposed height. The application was recommended for approval.
To save the planning officer's time the application for a conservatory at Gayton was also discussed and recommended for approval. The Planning officer left at 7.47pm. the meeting continued with:
2005/09 MATTERS ARISING:
1. The Play Area inspection now heard from SPFA - inspection to take place May / June. Apologies for delay also sent.
2. Mr William's garden wall - currently there are larger stones along the road for protection. These have to be replaced - steel or plastic posts with reflectors offered. Kerbstones would be better it was suggested.
3. Road surface. Scheduled for 2005 sometime. Potholes by Greenway Farm very bad.
4. Drain past the Chapel now finished. Mr R Westlake had to insist on the deficiencies being rectified and re-laid turf himself onto soil, not the stones the builders left.

2005/12 PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
37 2005 002 Half Moon Inn - boundary wall see PQT.
37 2005 003 Gayton - Conservatory - see PQT. Both for PC determination. Both recommended for approval.
Info only - Maybe 02 most at Haydon.
2005/13 PLANNING DECISIONS:
37 2004 014 Inglenook - extension, granted with conditions.
37 2004 001 Hi-Ho conservatory, granted with conditions.
37 2004 015 Shoreditch Farm - info only, minor amendment.
2005/14 PARISH PLAN:
A large number of questionnaires been returned, info therein being collated. Main things already noted. Minutes wanted in magazine, maybe on notice board. Dates of next meetings not prominent.
The next meeting. The Annual Parish Council Meeting together with the Annual Parish Meeting arranged for Wednesday 11th May 2005 in the Chapel at 7.30pm.
Consultation Meeting re PLANNING IN STOKE ST MARY. This was very well supported in the village hall. the village views
were represented at the TDBC meeting by Mr D Parsons & Mr J Olney. Mr M Newport proposed a vote of thanks on behalf of the village to the
organisers for all their hard work.
Hopefully it appears that the planners are of the same opinion as the majority of the village.
There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting at 8.38pm.
