Stoke St Mary Annual Parish Council Minutes.
11th May 2005

The Annual Parish Council Meeting was held in the Chapel at 8.10pm following the Annual Parish meeting in the Chapel at 7.30pm.

PRESENT:
Mr M.M. Baddeley, in the chair, Mr D. Parsons, Mr S. Burgess, Mrs R Clark,
Mr  R. Pearse & Mr G.Salter.

IN ATTENDANCE:
Mrs M Pearse, Parish Clerk and eleven members of the parish.

APOLOGIES:
Mr M Newport, Mr Clark SCC Councillor left to attend another PC meeting.

2005/15 ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN:
Nomination: Mr M Baddeley.
proposed by Mr D Parsons. Seconded by Mr S Burgess.
Mr Baddeley agreed to serve for another year.

2005/16 ELECTION OF VICE CHAIRMAN:
Nominations: Mr D Parsons, Mr S Burgess.
Mr D Parsons withdrew.
Proposed by Mr G Salter. Seconded by Mr M Baddeley.

2005/17 ELECTION OF VILLAGE HALL REPRESENTATIVE:
Nomination: Mr G Salter.
Proposed by Mr M Baddeley. Seconded by Mr R Pearse.

Mr D Parsons would continue liaison with Highways.
Mr S Burgess would keep an eye on the footpaths.
Mr M Newport would continue to look at the planning applications.

2005/18 MATTERS ARISING:
Insurance company still waiting for valuation of Millennium Stone.
Mr William's garden wall/stones left on hold as Mr Williams very ill.

2005/19 PLANNING APPLICATIONS:
37 2005 002 Half Moon fence for PC determination - two letters airing concerns, these dealt with at planning meeting in Chapel. recommended for approval.
37 2005 005 Dairy House Farm for PC determination - roof alteration - one anonymous phone call after time limit expired. Recommended for approval.
37 2005 006 LB Stoke House demolition of dilapidated greenhouse + internal improvements, Recommended for approval.

2005/20 PLANNING DECISIONS:
37 2005 002 Fence - Half Moon. Granted with conditions.
37 2005 003 Conservatory - Gayton. Granted with conditions.
37 2005 004 Change of use - Shoreditch Farm. Granted with conditions.

2005/21 FINANCE:
Balance at Bank 18th April 2005 = £2759.89
Receipts: Allotment rent £20.00 and TDBC Precept £2200.00

Stoke St. Mary Village Hall £20.00 (Right of way + meeting).

The nest meeting was arranged for Wednesday 13th July 2005 in the Chapel at 7.30pm.

There being no further business the chairman closed the meeting at 9.27pm.
