Stoke St. Mary, Thurlbear and Orchard Portman, Somerset, England.

Description

Stoke St. Mary, from the south east, 1837 from a Water-Colour by J. Buckler. The church is seen here before the addition of the south aisle in 1864. The small window in the roof was apparently added to light a singers' gallery at the west end of the church. On the right is the Poor House, demolished in 1963.
