STOKE ST. MARY.

Description
Photograph circa 1910 showing,
above the tree line the Zeppelin, cruising.
The Zeppelin was a rigid airship having
a long cylindrical body and invented by
Ferdinand Graf von Zeppalin 1838-1917.

On the left is seen part of the old Village
Hall and its entrance.

In front of the Half Moon is seen a horse-drawn
trailer thought to be the road workmen
conveyance - the men no doubt enjoying some
refreshment in the Half Moon !
